So, I thought I’d share with you guys, my favorite tried and true beauty products. These are all products that I’m currently using and have used for a length of time. I’m not only obsessed with all things fashion, but I also LOVE, beauty products. But I mean, what girl doesn’t, right? I’m always down to try new things, especially products that help with hyperpigmentation and dark spots (wish I could take back all those years of tanning beds and no sunscreen). So for now, I’ll stick with a hat, sunscreen on my face and self-tanner, LOL!! Below, I’ve compiled my top 10 Favorites to Share!
I’m going to start with the Elemis products. I love all things elemis. They all smell amazing and I feel like I’m at the spa. First, is this cleansing balm. I’ve been using this for years. It’s the best 3 in 1 cleanse and makeup remover. I use a makeup wipe to take my makeup up. And then, I use this balm to take off an extra. You want to make sure you’re getting everything off before you actually wash your face, so you aren’t rubbing in gunk and debris. I just tried the summer limited edition scent (Summer Blooms). And I actually prefer the original scent. I have linked both!
Also by Elemis is the Pro-Collagen Essence. I’ve had this for almost a year now. It’s so great, and extra hydrating when your skin needs extra juice. This can be applied before any other products. I just rub it in. And did I mention, It smells amazing!!
Next up, are two Skinceuticals Products. I’m on my second bottles of each of these and love them. Skinceuticals is on the expensive side, but their products really work and are medical grade. If there’s any product to get by them, it’s the Vitamin C, CE Ferulic serum. It’s the best out there. Smells like hot dogs, but if you can get past that, it works wonders. This is applied in the AM before other serums. It’s an antioxidant, is anti-aging and protects again free radicals. The other product by them, I also love. Like I mentioned earlier, I have hyperpigmentation and dark spots, I’ve been working to get rid of them. This is MAGIC. The Gylocolic 10 Overnight Treatment. This is a corrective cream that brightens and exfoliates the skin overnight for a more radiant complexion (helps reduce hyperpigmentation and spots). A must have for me!If you want a less expensive version, that I feel also does a good job, is the Overnight Exfoliating Treatment,by Good Molecules. I was gifted this and have been using it every other night that I don’t use the Skinceuticals Gycolic 10. And my skin always feels so smooth in the morning. This is definitely a more affordable option (it’s only $6), that I believe still does a good job.
The other product, I have loved using, goes on last. It’s an overnight treatment as well by Farmacy. It’s a 10% Niacinamide Mask. Which is a leave on night mask that helps improve skin texture, refine pores, and provide moisture. I love the thickness of this mask.Next is SUNSCREEN!! We should all wear this, helps prevent skin cancer, dark spots, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles and the list goes on!! I love this one by Elta MD. It also comes in a tinted version for non makeups days. I like this one, especially in the summer because it has, Niacinamide and helps with acne prone skin. My skin tends to be a little oiler in the summer, so I find this helps.
The Last few are hair favorites. First is, pure castor oil. If you haven’t heard before castor oil helps with hair growth and has really helped with my split ends. I’ve been using it as a mask once a week before showering try to wear if for a few hours). I like this one by Briogeo.
Next is rosemary and mint oil by Mielle. You can buy this at target or Amazon. Rosemary helps stimulate the scalp for new hair growth. It’s also infused with biotin, which helps with hair growth. I have also been putting this on my hair line at night, and few drops in my shampoo when showering.
Lastly, I live by this one. I’m sure you’ve heard of it. It’s the OLAPLEX Bonding Oil. I put this on my ends every night. You don’t need a lot (I’ve had the same bottle for over a year), and don’t worry, it soaks in by morning.
Hope you guys enjoyed my favorite beauty products!
