How To Style A Maxi Dress For Fall

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE fall Weather!! September thru December are definitely my favorite months out of the year! I love the fashion, festivities and fun décor for all of the holidays. And who doesn’t love a good P-U-M-P-K-I-N??? I mean, I know my house is about to be covered in them. As August is here and September is quickly approaching, it’s time to start thinking of fall attire. While I know it’s still 90 degrees in some places, you can still have fall inspired outfits until the cooler weather arrives.

So I thought a maxi dress would be the perfect outfit to transition your looks into fall!! This particular one is off the shoulder with sleeves. So It’s still breezy but pulls off that autumn vibe! Secondly, camel colored brown is the perfect fall staple. It has such a warm richness, that it screams Fall is HERE!! I love pairing this color with black as well. I think the two colors together complement each other so well. They are both basic colors that your bound to find in your wardrobe!

I paired this maxi with a camel colored headband and a platform faux suede (excellent choice for fall inspired look) sandal. My headband is from Lele last fall, but I’ve linked a few great alternative choices, both from Amazon!! If you don’t know yet, I’m obsessed with Amazon (although who isn’t these days). I think you can find great alternative pricing for a lot of designer fashion pieces, as well as décor. I also paired this dress with an LV bag and a leopard scarf. I got my vintage leopard purse scarf at a thrift store, but have linked a few similar options as well. Leopard is also a great fall staple. You can basically wear it with anything and it looks good.

You can also spice the outfit up for fall by pairing the maxi dress with a cute pair of camel colored booties depending on the temperature. You could also take it a step further and pair the maxi dress with a leather jacket and tall brown boots!! I always see this in magazines and just think wow, that looks so trendy and sooooo cute.
